Our Beekeeping Story

Highview Honey is a small family operation in Wexford, PA that started in 2013. We manage a few hives for fun and enjoyment and love sharing our honey with friends, family, and neighbors.

In our early years of beekeeping, we became increasingly frustrated by insects and rodents infiltrating our hives. We invented the Hive Sentry to protect our bees 24/7. With the Hive Sentry in use, our summer honey harvest soon grew to more than we could give away, upwards of 17 gallons! So in 2021, we partnered with Colombino, a great coffee shop in Bethel Park, PA, to update our packaging and sell our honey.
